Dr Hala Hameed
Dr Hala Hameed was appointed as Ambassador and Permanent Representative on 22 December 2015. She has served as a former Minister of State for the Ministry of Law and Gender, as well as a former Deputy Commissioner on the Maldives Police Integrity Commission. Dr Hala has served more than 25 years in Government Service.
Hawla Ahmed Didi
Hawla Ahmed Didi was appointed as the Deputy Permanent Representative on 25th December 2018. She has served as former Deputy Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2008- 2012. Ms Hawla was actively involved in the recognition and realization of children’s rights in Maldives when she previously worked at UNICEF and Local NGO - Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC). She has also worked at Maldivian Red Crescent and Tree Top Hospital Maldives.
Aishath Shahula serves as the First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Maldives in Geneva, having been appointed in July 2016. She joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2008, and prior to coming to Geneva headed the desk for Small States, Sustainable Development and Climate Change in the Global Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives.
