Geneva hosts the second largest diplomatic community in the world, following New York. It is the operational and humanitarian hub for international engagement across the globe.

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Maldives to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva represents the Maldives to International Organizations working with human rights, climate change, trade, health and humanitarian, issues striving to ensure that the views and interests of the Maldives are heard across the spectrum of International Organizations and Member States.

The Mission regularly engages with the United Nations, Human Rights Council, World Health Organization, World Trade Organization and 27 other international agencies that are headquartered in Geneva.
